With AXA XL since 2010, Florian is currently Chief Risk Officer for the Americas. He is responsible for overseeing the risk management framework for the Insurance business units in the United States, Canada and Bermuda. In addition to this, he also manages the underwriting risk framework for AXA XL globally, which includes coordinating the emerging risk framework as well as activities in the geopolitical risk space. Prior to this role, Florian held a number of risk management roles with the Corporate and Reinsurance units of AXA XL. Florian is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society since 2015 and is based in New York City.
