Bill Goldstein is the CEO of CRC Group’s Underwriting Division, which includes both Starwind
Specialty and AmRisc. Bill joined CRC Group through the acquisition of Constellation Affiliated
Partners of which Bill was the founder and CEO. Bill directed the sale of Constellation
(subsequently re-branded to Starwind) to CRC Group in July 2021, which more than doubled
CRC Group’s program business, creating over $2.4B of premium across 10+ industry and
specialty categories. Starwind’s current premiums are approximately $3.5B.
Constellation was formed in 2019 as a New York-based MGA platform that focused on Specialty
Property & Casualty programs with a unique strategy on accessing alternative capital and
reinsurance company support to deliver market leading underwriting results.
Prior to forming Constellation, Bill spent over 12 years at Integro, an insurance brokerage and
risk management firm where he held several senior positions including CFO and CEO. In 2015,
Bill successfully led the sale of Integro. During his tenure at Integro, Bill spearheaded business
development efforts and completed over 30 acquisitions and two divestitures, growing EBITDA
from $10M to $80M.
Prior to Integro, Bill was an audit senior manager with PWC focusing on Life & Health Carriers
and Reinsurance Companies.
Bill received his B.A. from the University of Vermont and MBA from Rutgers University.
