Florian is the CEO and founder of Icosa Investments. Before founding his own company, Florian was Head of Cat Bonds at Twelve Capital AG, where he managed cat bond portfolios of over USD 3 billion in assets under management, including what was at the time one of the largest cat bond UCITS funds globally. Before Twelve Capital, he worked in structured credit and alternative fixed income at Goldman Sachs, ZAIS Group, and Cape Capital. Florian completed his Executive MBA at the University of St. Gallen as the top graduate in his class. He also holds a B.Sc. in Business Management from the European Business School in Germany and spent a semester abroad at Harvard University. Florian is the lead portfolio manager for the cat bond strategies and is employed by MRB Fund Partners AG, where all regulated portfolio management activity is conducted.
