James Montgomery is CEO of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Ryan Transactional Risk, having been with the company since March 2016. “Monty” joined the insurance industry in 2011, initially with the law firm Kennedys and subsequently with QBE, underwriting Financial and Commercial Institution’s D&O, PI, Crime and BBB as well as M&A products.
Monty graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 BSc in Geography before completing his LLB at the College of Law.
