Berni Hackett has over 25 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry, working in Australia and the London Market on international and complex insurance risks. Berni is the Head of Customer Management for the UK & EMEA for Zurich Commercial Insurance. She leads a team in the UK who are responsible for delivering outstanding customer experience for the largest and most complex customers in the Commercial Insurance market, this includes multinational insurance and captive fronting. She leads the strategy for Customer Management for the large commercial customer segment for Commercial insurance across EMEA. She has been with Zurich for 10 years in a variety of customer facing roles, including construction, energy, infrastructure, and was a broker for 20 years in the London market working primarily in construction insurance, and she began her career in Australia as broker working on multinational programs for mining and utility companies.

Berni has a bachelor’s degree in economics from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, and obtained the Fellowship of Insurance, Australia & New Zealand from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia.
