David King is Co-CEO at Artificial, the technology partner transforming specialty placement and underwriting in Lloyd’s and global markets. He brings over two decades of experience across technology and insurance.
Since co-founding Artificial in 2013, David has been instrumental in shaping its commercial strategy, serving as Chief Commercial Officer for a decade. He helped guide the business through its £22M Series A and A+ funding rounds, while securing partnerships with leading global insurers and brokers including AXIS, Convex, Chaucer and Aon.
Before founding Artificial, David was an officer in the British Army, held leadership roles in insurance services, and graduated from Nottingham Business School.
