Gilbert Harrap is CEO and co-founder of InsurX, a technology company connecting brokers and insurers in the London Market so they can trade risk without friction. Before launching InsurX, Gilbert spent six years as an underwriter at MS Amlin, later becoming Head of Strategy for the company’s reinsurance business. Along the way, he completed his MBA at INSEAD.

Drawing on this mix of underwriting and strategy experience, Gilbert set out to help the market take fuller advantage of data and digital technology. He co-founded InsurX in 2021, with the goal of giving brokers and insurers a smarter way to collaborate and trade capacity.
