Jon has created and lead various innovative transactions in the alternative risk transfer/ structured solutions markets in the majority of P&C segments across insurance, mutuals, reinsurance, retro, insurance capital, derivative and structured credit markets. In his current role he has responsibility for underwriting performance and standards, carrier and distribution relationships across a team of underwriters as well as being involved in transactional underwriting. Jon’s work has overlapped with energy transition in various areas such as: multi-year structured transactions complimenting traditional insurance products; non-damage business interruption for energy retailers; providing revenue insurance to support new technology finance; asset backed finance credit insurance; performance guarantees for new technology and others. Jon started work in the London insurance market in 2006 and has worked for Aon Re, Willis Re, Allianz Risk Transfer, Launched the UK office for USQRisk in 2021 and was part of the management team that managed the successful sale of USQRisk to Ryan Speciality in May 2025.
