Henry Nelson is Chief Underwriting Officer of the UK & MENA region at Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) and incoming active underwriter for Lloyd’s Syndicate 4472 effective 1/1/26.  
Henry oversees underwriting strategies that align with the region’s business objectives and will be responsible for managing the underwriting portfolio of Lloyd’s Syndicate 4472. He is focused on steering the syndicate and underwriting teams through future opportunities and delivering exceptional service to clients and brokers. 
With over 12 years at LSM, Henry brings extensive cross-functional experience, having held key roles such as Chief of Staff and Head of Portfolio Management for UK and Global products. His broad expertise spans multiple business lines.  
A strong advocate of nurturing talent and fostering inclusive opportunities, Henry also serves as Executive Sponsor of Liberty’s Veterans Matter committee, dedicated to supporting ex-military personnel as they transition into the insurance industry.
