Dan Topping is the Chief Executive Officer of B.P. Marsh, with overall responsibility for the leadership, strategic direction and long-term performance of the Group. He works closely with the Board, Investment Directors and management team to drive value across the portfolio, whilst remaining involved in delivering new opportunities and active investee company involvement.
Dan joined B.P. Marsh in 2007 and was appointed to the Board as a Director in 2011. He became Chief Investment Officer in January 2016, during which he led the execution of the Group’s investment strategy. During this period, Dan worked on several notable investments, including Besso, CBC, Kentro, Lilley Plummer Risk and SSRU. He also oversaw 26 new investments and 11 realisations, generating significant returns for the Company. Dan graduated from Durham University in 2005 and is a fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.
