Aaron Slan is a Managing Director at Culpeper Capital Partners, LLC. He has over 20 years of experience in financial services private equity and special situations investing, during which time he has led investments in and served on the boards of a number of companies. He is passionate about finding ways to make investments with highly attractive risk reward profiles by helping companies solve problems and pursue opportunities, taking advantage of market conditions, leveraging underappreciated assets and devising bespoke investment structures. He was previously a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group, where he worked for over a decade and an Associate at Irving Place Capital. He started his career in Credit Suisse’s financial institutions investment banking group after graduating from the Wharton School of Economics with a BSc in Finance and Decision Processes.
