Paschal Brooks is a Managing Director with Aon Securities based in New York and advising on insurance linked securities, including cat bonds and sidecars. Previously, he was a founding partner of Sustain ILS, an insurance linked securities asset manager. Prior to Sustain, Paschal was CEO of AlphaCat Managers Ltd., an AIG company, which provided ILS investment advisory services to institutional investors. Before AlphaCat , he worked as a Vice President in the structured finance group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and as a Research Analyst in the executive office of Alleghany Corporation. He earned a B.S. in economics and A.B. in mathematics at Duke University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
