Kyle Freeman is the Head of AXIS ILS at AXIS Capital Holdings Limited. His responsibilities include overseeing the Company’s activities related to third-party assets under management, including casualty vehicles, property catastrophe and cyber cat bonds, and sidecars.

Prior to AXIS, he served in senior ILS and actuarial roles at companies such as JPMorgan, AIR Worldwide, and USAA. Before entering the corporate world, he served for seven years in the U.S. Navy where he was a nuclear engineer and submarine officer.

Kyle graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a master’s degree in mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
