John DeCaro, CFA, is a Founding Partner of Elementum Advisors, LLC. An industry pioneer, John has been involved in the risk-linked investments (RLI) arena since 1995, serving as a respected thought leader in the catastrophe bond sphere. In addition to serving as the senior advisor for the catastrophe bond prong of Elementum's Investment team, John is also focused on corporate leadership for the firm. John earned a BS in Finance from the University of South Carolina, an MS in Financial Markets and Trading from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997.
