Alan is the Technology Managing Director at Ki, responsible for the firm's technology and for driving commercial impact through the application of modern technology and data capabilities. He leads teams focused on delivering measurable improvements to Ki's financial performance by combining deep industry expertise with advanced approaches to technology and analytics.

Alan joined Ki in 2020 as Director of Algorithmic Underwriting, where he led the development and ongoing enhancement of Ki's underwriting algorithm as a core component of the overall platform.

Earlier in his career, Alan completed a PhD in Practical Physics while working at CERN. He is a Fellow of the British Computing Society.
