Chris joined BMS as Group COO in April 2024. He began his career in reinsurance in 1999 at Willis Re. Over the next decade, he developed an expertise in both property and casualty lines, working across wholesale & retail segments. Following the successful integration of the Carvill team into the Willis Re Structure, Chris was appointed Managing Director for the North America UK division, leading the P&C business, focussing on North America and some London Market clients. As the firm began to focus more on its Specialty offerings, Chris took on a dual role: MD for North America and COO for Specialty. In 2017, Chris was appointed Global COO of Willis Re. In this global role, he brought together people, platforms & processes across multiple geographies, sharpening the business' competitive edge and enhancing global coordination. During the Gallagher transaction in 2021, Chris played a lead role in planning and executing the integration, transitioning 2,500 people, in over 80 offices into the newly formed Gallagher Re.
